Unable to add TEXT ( "Any Shape" baseline) to existing EMB file (previous DST)

EDITED Addition: Never mind, I found entry where I had already reported this: community.wilcom.com/embroiderystudio-re...t-to-an-old-emb-file

I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate entry ... but, I searched but couldn't find similar topic with the Search field.

e42F:
I am unable to add a text object (using Any shape baseline) to an existing emb file (that was originally a DST). Turns out I am unable to add any TEXT to this file; using any alphabet (not just my esa file).

I have closed the file several times, closed Wilcom & restarted.
I've also selected entire design, hit G, and G again.

However, I CAN add a Any shape baseline text to a NEW emb file though.

As a work-around, I created text in new emb file, copied & pasted it into the "Child of God" design.

Hi Pascale,

This has been fixed in Update 1 for e4.2. As an EAP member you should be able to download this from the EAP section of this forum and test.

Thank you Brenden.

I tested a couple files using e42G and I can once again add text. Yeah :)
