Hi AC,

A file association problem can be caused by certain changes of the program.

Let us try setting the .EMB files to open in ES.

1 Right click ES desktop icon > Click Properties.
2 Click Compatibility tab , make sure the 'Run this program as administrator' IS NOT TICKED.

Right click a .EMB file > Click Properties
Under General tab click Change button.

A new window will open and will asked 'how do you want to open .EMB files'
Click More Apps, scroll until 'Look for Another app on this PC' link.
Open this path "C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.2\BIN" and select the ES application (type)
Click the Open button.

Once done, let me know if the design files are re associated/reflected with E4 embroidery SW.

Thanks,
Karla
