Hi
Can anyone help?

I have recently installed 4.2 and I am not sure if I need to be changing something somewhere, but when I batch convert a file to the following formats, I also get .bmp and .INF,.... is there any where I can change the settings to not get these files also please?

(I convert to DST, EXP, JEF, PES, VP3 and XXX)

Thanks

Hi Dellyb,

When converting to EXP (Bernina), process is accompanied by a separate INF and BMP files. They contain additional data such as design properties, thumbnail and bitmap colors. These files are included and important to your stitch file.

Thanks,
Karla

Hi Dellyb,

Another thing DST also makes an image file which can be turned off in the option when exporting.

Thanks,
Karla

Hi

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, I have already turned off the DST image file. Is there no way to turn off the ones that come with the EXP? It never used to automatically convert to those before, so is it the new 4.2 that includes them, or can I turn them off somewhere?

Currently, there is no way to turn off the extra files that are generated when exporting EXP files. An issue has been raised.
