Worksheet barcode not showing correctly.

I produced PDF version of worksheet by using Print Preview, then Save as PDF
Apart from minor issue (as reported on another post .)

The produced PDF seems fine on Windows (where e4.2 is installed).

(screenshot of the PDF opened in Adobe Reader on Windows 10)

However, this PDF shows funny characters on other machines, such as dragging to macOS.

(same PDF opened in Preview on macOS Mojave)

My guess: Code39 TTF font was NOT embedded in the PDF.
Suggested solution: please embed the barcode font, or generate Code39 barcode.

Hi Antony,

Have you tried installing the code39 font on your mac?

No, and I can see Free3or9 is not embedded on the worksheet PDF.

Shouldn't the PDF embed fonts used apart from standard (base) 14 PDF fonts ?
Some clients want a worksheet, and it would be awkward to ask client to install the typeface onto their computer.
