When you have an object like the letter "A" and you create it for fill stitches and add an automatic border, why the software create first the INSIDE a border and not the OUTSIDE first?
It creates a not necessary trim and for sure an extra job for the digitizer...

But even if the borders are OUTSIDE one first, you still have a trim.

But if you do first the outside border and after inside border you can save 1 trim time.

In either way (inner outline first or outer outline first), I get two trims.

However, if you have the outlines and the letter A same colour, just select them and hit J key, and the trims will be down to 1.
