Hi. I have a decent logitech that has more than 6 buttons on it. Many of them I never use. I tried to program so that I can share the "enter" key on the key board to one of the button (thump?) on my mouse so that I do not have to use my other hand to press it. Is it possible if not Why? I think it may help me to digitize faster and free my other hand just for short cut keys.

Sure it's possible I have a macro on one of my left thumb button for Enter. My Mouse is a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 and it can be configured through the Windows Mouse and Keyboard Center.

Look up the model of the mouse on the Logitech site, you may have to download the software for it and then you want to assign a macro to the button. Which will just be "Enter".

Have you downloaded Logitech Options (from Logitech website)?

Select a mouse button you want to assign to "Enter"
Select "Keystroke Assignment"
Then click on the input box, and press Enter key on your keyboard.

BTW, I love Logitech MX Vertical mouse, very comfortable for digitising. But I still need Magic Mouse for everything else.
