4.2 Not seeing mapped network drives

I've just installed 4.2 on my system and am having some trouble getting started.

We store all our designs on a mapped network drive, which works fine in e4.1, but in e4.2, the system does not see the network drives so I am unable to open any embroidery files..

Has anyone else seen this? Any thoughts/solutions?

yes!!!! we are having the same problem and I've been told that the API has not been updated to support version 4.2. HUGE overisight!!!!
this should have been rolled out at the same time, Wilcom.
I am unimpressed with this as no one seems to be able to tell me when the api will be updated to support the 4.2.
Obviously there are more of us experiencing this issue and honestly Wilcom need to get this sorted.

Hi Kerriyj,

In testing, we can access designs on a mapped drive.

When you open ES e4.2, then browse to Workspace, then go File > Open Design, do you see "This PC"? And what do you see when you expand it?

i.e. I see my mapped drives when I expand This PC.

Hi Linda,

Can you also check the steps above and let me know you see?

RE API: We appreciate the frustration here and apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

We have become the process of upgrading our servers, and more so, building an infrastructure that will keep the API up to date with our desktop software release. At present it is quite a technical challenge to deploy a new web server, so we're streamlining this process.

Thanks everyone, this is working now and I've no idea why it did not before, I can only blame a network glitch. Thanks for the responses.
