I've had deco studio for 10 years and just upgraded to embroidery studio.. I did 8 names this morning and 6 of the 8 were correct but 2 are not centered.. I move them to the center and save them but they revert to being offset. I searched but cannot find anything in the manual or online to help correct this.

Hi.

Are you looking at center aligning that text, or setting a start and end center position for the whole design?

To center align text you should only need to select the Center align icon in the text properties. For the whole design, it’s the normal start and end option.

Perhaps you can upload the .emb showing the issue and I can take a look?

I also have similar issue with centring text using Teamnames.
The first one centred, but the rest aren't centred properly.

Hi, This may not be what you are describing ... but here's what I thought of when I read your question.

Sometimes, I find that my text objects are not centered and wonder why. When I look at the input box, I discover that I had unintentionally added a space after the name. This tends to happen to me when I use the enter key to change a 2 word name from a single line to two lines. Watch that you didn't unintentionally add a space behind the name.

I went in and I and check under hoops and " Auto Start" , I changed the setting just to check and it still does it.. I'm at a loss and need to figure this out so I can finish this order...

In the Hoop settings have you got that checked for "automatic centering" and then the "auto start/end settings" checked? That can sometimes uncentre designs on conversion to format if not
.

With the attached EMB looks like your Auto Start and End is turned off. Assuming you want the needle to align with the middle of the design.

Click the Auto Start and End icon on the toolbar to turn it on.

It should default to the center of the design. If not just right-click the icon to enter settings and make sure they are as below:-
