Embroidery machine not recognising colours

4 weeks 1 day ago #2963 by hunstanton personalisation
I'm very new to all this and I'm sure I have clicked something in mistake as I had already solved my issue.

I have Decolite and a Brother PR670E (6 needle).

initially I couldn't get me Brother to pick up on the thread colours. I worked out I needed to send in PES format. This was working.

I have done a few designs and now my brother is not picking up on thread colours despite me sending in PES format. I'm sure I have clicked something in Wilcom this time.

So basically I set my colourway to polyneon 40 and set the threads. Transfer to Brother machine in PES and the machine is set with the correct threads 1-6. but when I go to embroider the file cannot seem to see the correct colours are loaded.

Can anyone help me?

Can you post the emb and pes file?

You should let the machine read the PES file first, and once it assigns the colour to the needle, you can re-arrange the colours. (Use Switch spool key, NOT the one looks like with a hand.) The next stitch with same colours should be fine.

Make sure in your machine's setting, it reads PES colour code.
