For some reason, I cannot download your supplied EMB flle so I could test from my end.
Could you please resend the design to us?
Maybe, a break apart tool should be used for the design prior to modifying it.
Also, you are our US Customer, has this been reported to our Wilcom America Team?

What level of ES are you using and what is the version in the about box? Maybe attach the whole thing as a screen capture.

This can be seen when entering reshape as there are nodes for each stitch. It's no longer an object.
Was the customer file an EMB or some other format?

Someone sent me .emb files (grade D, converted from .dst), I have to spend more time sorting out colours. I ended up digitising myself.
