My customer sent me a .EMB file, but it will not let me edit it. Any thoughts?

Looks like this file was created in e4.1.
What version of ES are you using?

Hi Teresa,

For some reason, I cannot download your supplied EMB flle so I could test from my end.
Could you please resend the design to us?
Maybe, a break apart tool should be used for the design prior to modifying it.
Also, you are our US Customer, has this been reported to our Wilcom America Team?

Here is the file again. This is the only place that I have sent my problem too. Who else do I need to send it too?

Opens fine for me in e4.2J R2. Are you using e4.2J as well.
What level of ES are you using and what is the version in the about box? Maybe attach the whole thing as a screen capture.

I can open it, but I can't edit it. When I try to reduce the size it doesn't reduce the stitches

I can resize it fine. What your saying is that you make it smaller, it's still 16,000+ stitches that's because the file the EMB was created with was imported via stitches and is a Grade D EMB file.

This can be seen when entering reshape as there are nodes for each stitch. It's no longer an object.

Was the customer file an EMB or some other format?

I know that.
Someone sent me .emb files (grade D, converted from .dst), I have to spend more time sorting out colours. I ended up digitising myself.
